Alipay: Everyone enters the “electronic bus card era”
In today's society, Alipay's services are present in every aspect of our lives. Currently, Alipay has a staggering 870 million active users worldwide, which is truly impressive. When it comes to Alipay's payment functions, it can be said that they have changed our lifestyles, making our lives more convenient and efficient. Take bill payments as an example. Almost all types of bills in daily life can be paid through Alipay, eliminating the need to go out and wait in line. In my opinion, I couldn't live without Alipay.
Among its many practical features, my favorite is the QR code for public transportation. As we all know, Alipay announced its achievements in smart transportation at the “Public Transportation Summit” in April this year. From 2016 to 2017, over 50 cities in China have implemented the Alipay QR code bus ride feature, and I believe the coverage will expand even further this year. Has your city launched the Alipay QR code bus ride feature yet? If not, I believe it will be implemented soon.
QR code-based public transportation has completely transformed traditional payment methods, ushering in the era of electronic bus cards. Additionally, based on Alipay's practical results, this has significantly reduced the national burden in terms of manpower, resources, and time. According to Alipay: “Using QR code payments can reduce cash usage by 20% on buses and 50% on subways.” With 240 million daily bus passengers and 60 million subway passengers nationwide, adopting a 0.3-second QR code scanning process per ride would greatly reduce the consumption of human resources, material resources, and time, while also significantly improving staff efficiency.
